Fall In? Or Leave: 1940-1960, a scene from What Had Happened Was...An Afro Urban Musical. Unfair treatment of students in a boarding school leads to an uprising. The performance was created by Nkeiruka  Oruche and directed by Tossie Long

I performed  in Oakland and San Francisco as one of the lead casts. I danced, played drums, and did theater as the Hopeful student during the scene when students were boycotting the injustices that were happening at their school.
